Hailey Addonizio

Hailey is a Law Clerk at Cushman and a student at American University Washington College of Law, where she focuses on intellectual property and patent law, with an emphasis on life sciences and biotech technologies.

Hailey earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Baylor University, where her research focused on proteins and enzyme systems. Her background includes laboratory experience and technical analysis, which informs her work with biologically and chemically complex subject matter.

At Cushman, Hailey supports the firm’s patent practice and contributes to the PTAB Handbook project, assisting with research, drafting, and analysis related to practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board at the USPTO. She is passionate about innovation, thoughtful legal writing, and the role strong patent protection plays in advancing new technologies.
